A 20 year old Mansfield man is in jail down in southern Ohio on multiple charges, which involve juveniles. The Scioto County Sheriff says, Robert Tubbs Jr. was arrested on Monday, May 29th, and is currently in the county jail on a $25,000 bond. Among the charges are 3rd, 4th and 5th degree felonies, which include: Attempted Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a Minor and Disseminating Matter Harmful to a Juvenile.
The investigation by detectives shows the suspect drove to pick-up a 13 year old victim, after messages and exchanging inappropriate photos online. A tip from a concerned citizen about several juveniles getting into a vehicle with two adult males, which looked suspicious, led to a traffic stop and the investigation.
