An Ashland County law enforcement officer has been charged with criminal negligence, which allegedly put the lives of other deputies in danger.
According to RichlandSource.com, a pre-trial hearing is scheduled for June 6th for Deputy Cindy Benner, on four charges of dereliction of duty. The charges come after an outside investigation, which were in connection to 2 incidents and said, she did not respond to domestic violence calls. The 2nd degree felonies are punishable by up to 90 days in jail and a maximum fine of $750.
