The Richland County Commissioners have approved contracts for design services for two upcoming projects.
According to RichlandSource.com, a company out of Wooster was chosen for the roundabout, which will be located at the intersection of Lexington-Springmill and Home road. A Columbus company was selected to design widening the shoulder of Lex-Springmill, which will take place between Ontario and Lexington.
Richland County engineer, Adam Gove, said, construction won’t happen until 2026, which the combined cost of those projects estimated at around $4.8 million. 90% of the work will be covered via state grants.
