(GALION, Ohio) — A Crawford County man was arrested yesterday for possession of child sexual abuse material following a search warrant executed by the Ohio Attorney General’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.
Chet Cobb, 44, of Galion, was charged with two counts of pandering obscenity, a fourth-degree felony. He is being held in the Crawford County jail on a $175,000 bond.
During the early morning hours of May 18, a search warrant was executed by BCI’s Special Victims Unit and the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office at Cobb’s residence at 1280 N. Market St. in Galion.
The investigation remains ongoing as additional charges are anticipated.
The case is being prosecuted by the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office.
