There are two items from Tuesday's election that were too close to call, according to Richland County Board of Elections Director, Matt Finfgeld.
The contested race for law director in Mansfield, between Rollie Harper and Chris Brown, had only an 11 vote difference, and there are still 79 provisional ballots and 50 absentee ballots that could be counted.
Fingeld said, the Richland County Park District levy, which is 10 years for operating expenses, had 13 more votes for they levy, but just like the law director race, will still need to receive provisional and absentee ballots before deciding the outcome. The board of elections will begin to count those ballots, next week, and expected to share the results on May 16th.
