On April 26, 2023, Deputies from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and METRICH Enforcement Unit executed a narcotic search warrant at 5198 Spring Valley Ct Galion, Ohio 44833. The search warrant came at the conclusion of an investigation into illegal narcotics being used and sold from the property.
Arrested was Jerimiah David Cottrell, age 37. Jerimiah was the target of the investigation for trafficking in methamphetamines. Prior to the execution of the search warrant, Jerimiah was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped by Deputies, where he was found to be in possession of approximately 45 grams of methamphetamines. Deputies seized the suspected methamphetamines, a Glock semi-automatic pistol, marijuana, currency and drug paraphernalia during the search of the above residence.
Jerimiah was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center. Reports will be forwarded to the Crawford County Prosecutors Office for consideration of charges.
