News Release 4-24-2023
On April 24, 2023, Deputies from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and the METRICH Enforcement Unit executed a narcotic search warrant at 920 Charles St., Galion, OH, the Rainbow Motel, room #124. The search warrant came at the conclusion of an investigation into illegal narcotics being used and sold from the property.
Arrested was Melissa A. Thomas age 43. Melissa was the target of the investigation for trafficking in methamphetamines. Deputies seized suspected methamphetamines, marijuana, currency and drug paraphernalia.
Melissa was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center. Reports will be forwarded to the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office for consideration of charges.
This case is still being investigated by the Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff Kent and Lt.
