Ashland County Man Indicted On Rape, Forced Prostitution, Domestic violence

A 40 year old Ashland County man has been indicted on 8 felony charges.

According to RichlandSource.com, Jeffrey Randall, who is from West Salem, is accused of rape, forced prostitution of a minor, along with weapons and domestic violence charges.

A trial date is set for May 23, where if convicted on all charges, Randall could be sentenced to 53 years in prison, along with a fine of $115,000.

The court appointed attorney said, he would be entering a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity. Ashland County Prosecutor, Chris Tunnell, said, the incidents took place dating back to 2018.
