Jefferson Township Road Maintenance Levy On May 2nd Ballot

The May 2nd election is now less than 3 weeks away.  The ballot in Richland County has quite a few levies, one of which is in Jefferson Township for road maintenance.

RichlandSource.com reports, the 5 year levy would bring in an additional $142,000 per year and help to maintain the quality of the roads with the rising cost of equipment and materials.

If passed, the levy would begin collecting funds next year in 2024 and would cost the owner of a $100,000 home, around $70 per year.
