Ashland County has named a new EMA Director.
RichlandSource.com reports, Anne Strouth has been hired to fill the role of Emergency Management Agency Director. The County Commissioners had been searching for around 8 months to replace Mark Rafeld, who retired last July. Rafeld spent 15 years as Ashland County EMA Director, while Ashland County Sheriff Lt, Randy Wood, spent a few months as the interim director.
Strouth will officially start on April 17th, and will operate out of the 2nd floor of the county office building, which is located on Cottage Street.
