Shelby Hopes To Name New Superintendent By End Of April

The Shelby schools hope to name a new superintendent in the next few weeks.

14 people applied for the position, which will see 7 candidates interviewed in the next couple of weeks. The school board hopes to name Shelby’s new superintendent by the end of April.

Current Superintendent, Tim Tarvin, is retiring at the end of July, after 42 years in education, 31 of those in Shelby.
