Ashland County Law enforcement is set to receive a new machine, which can test suspected narcotics in minutes.
According to RichlandSource.com, the Ashland County Prosecutor’s office, thanks to several generous donations of close to $70,000, is going to purchase a MX908.
Ashland County Prosecutor, Chris Tunnell, said, when they send things to the state lab, it normally takes between four weeks and 3 months to get the results back.
Tunnell said, being able to get results back in minutes, can improve public safety. The new machine is expected to arrive sometime this summer.
