In Shelby, two new police officers have been sworn-in.
According to RichlandSource.com, Dustin Howard and Derek Rose, are the two new additions to the police force and were sworn-in, last Friday, by Mayor Steve Schag. Shelby Police had been short by 5 officers, and both Rose and Howard, signed an agreement to be officers in Shelby for 5 years. The pair are currently underway with training at the North Central State College Police Academy.
