In Ashland County, Amanda Jones has been appointed, director, of the Ashland County Board of Elections.
According to RichlandSource.com, the 37 year old had served as deputy director for the last two years.
Jones, who was hired as a clerk in 2018, said, her grandmother was a poll worker and got her into it. Former board chair, Andrew Keller, said, Jones has emerged as an outstanding leader, calm under pressure, polite and reliable.
