A proposed tunnel being constructed under Trimble Road is being talked about, which would connect the B&O Bike Trail and the sidewalk on the east side of Trimble Road in Mansfield.
According to RichlandSource.com, the 100 foot underground passage would get rid of the possibility of an accident with vehicles and those walking or riding a bicycle. The cost would be around $800,000 and Mansfield Engineer, Bob Bianchi, said, the crossing is critical to the Bike Trail network and we want to make sure it is as safe as possible.
