Richland County Dog Warden: Need Residents To Adopt Or Pick-up Dogs

The Richland County Dog Shelter is in need for the public to adopt, or pick-up their dogs.

According to RichlandSource.com, as of this Monday, February 27th, the dog shelter on Home Road had 102 canines. Dog Warden Missy Houghton said, they have seen an uptick since early last year. Houghton mentioned last year, the shelter adopted close to 450 dogs, but took in more than 1,000.

Visitors are welcome to stop by Monday – Friday, 11 am – 4:15 pm or Saturday, 10 am – 1:45 pm. Adoption fees are $175 dollars and include your dog license, vaccines and microchipping.
