The Richland County Commissioners have approved a 4% increase in Medical costs at the Richland County Jail. According to RichlandSource.com, the increase with Advanced Correctional Healthcare was expected and included in the Sheriff's 2023 budget. Richland County will pay just over $600,000 for 24/7 medical coverage at the jail, which has 266 beds.
