Mansfield City on Tuesday approved what is known, as a readiness to serve charge, that will likely start to appear on resident’s water bills as early as next month.
The 7 to 1 vote will see most customers have an additional charge of $10.93 per month, which will generate around $2.7 million per year. Mansfield said, the move was needed to address the city’s aging water system.RichlandSource.com reports, Engineer Bob Bianchi, back in December said, he has a list of capital improvements and it’s not a wish list – it’s a need.
