Roadways in North Central Ohio are snow covered and slippery, which is why the Sheriff Department's in each Richland, Crawford, Ashland and Knox County - issue a level 1 snow emergency. The advisory reminds drivers to slow down and give yourself extra time to reach your destination, plus use caution as roads could be icy in spots too. Rain is expected to move into the area this afternoon and then late tonight back over to snow. A total of up to 4 inches is possible in the greater Mansfield area.
