Officials in the Lexington Schools say it could be between 4 – 6 years before the district receives the funding to build their new elementary school building.
According to RichlandSource.com, board members and administrators said they can’t move forward on the project until the money is released from the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission. Some school officials said they are concerned that costs could rise while they are waiting. Lexington opened its new 7-12 grade building last fall.
