Boys Hoops: Comeback Win -River Valley Holds Ontario To 14 2nd Half Points

Ontario led by as many as 9 points in the first half on Saturday night in a league game vs River Valley, but the Vikings huge 3rd quarter turned the momentum into a 55-37 road win. Ontario was up 13-9 after the 1st quarter and 23-21 at halftime, but the Vikings outscored the Warriors 25-6 in the 3rd quarter and overall, only allowed 14 points in the 2nd half to win their 5th straight. Ontario was led by Gage Weaver with 10 points, while River Valley, who improved to 11-4 and 8-1 in the MOAC. The Vikings are now in a first place tie with Shelby, who fell at Marion Harding on Saturday. Ontario drops below .500 at 6-7 and is now 5-4 in the conference.
