Mansfield To Resurface 34 Miles Of Roadway In 2023, 50% More Than Normal

The city of Mansfield announced they will pave 34 miles of roadway this year.

The cost to resurface will be $6.4 million, which RichlandSource.com reports, is funded by the Pothole tax. Roughly 10% of Mansfield’s street will be repaved and the 34 miles is about 50% more than normal, which is 23 to 25 miles. Bids will be going out for the project soon. Mansfield, in total, has just over 320 miles of roadway and each street, that has not been resurfaced in the last 5 years, was given a rating.
