The city of Mansfield has issued a demolition order of the main building of the West Park Shopping Center on Park Ave West.
According to RichlandSource.com, the building makes up most of the retail space in the shopping strip and this fall was found to be unsafe and in unsanitary condition.
Mansfield Codes and Permit manager, Marc Milliron, said the owner plans to demolish the structure, but leave a separate building standing on the east side. Mansfield has ordered the property needs to be vacated by January 14th.
