$500,000 ODOT Grant Will See Improvements To Main Street In Lexington

The village of Lexington will see improvements to Main Street thanks to an ODOT Safety Grant.

According to RichlandSource.com, Lexington has been awarded $500,000, which will pay for projects on Main Street between Plymouth Street and Castor Road.

Adding of center turn lanes, bike lanes, new cross walks and better access to the B&O Trail are all in the plan.

Mayor Brian White said, they want to make the downtown more walkable and accessible. White also mention there are 18 to 20,000 vehicles per day on Main Street.
