The Ontario Planning Commission heard a proposal this week about possibly adding a gas station and drive-thru along Lexington Springmill Road. According to RichlandSource.com, the idea would see a GetGo gas station built at the current location of Cheddars. The gas station would also provide some fresh food options, while having 12 gas pumps and an electric vehicle charging option.
Some residents spoke out against the idea, saying they don’t want the increased traffic and Ontario already has enough gas stations.
