Another roundabout is in the works for Richland County.
Engineer Adam Gove says his office is receiving $2.7 million in ODOT Safety Grants to install the roundabout at the intersection of Lexington-Springmill road and Home road.
The total cost is around $3 million and will be the 3rd overall roundabout in Richland County. According to RichlandSource.com, Gove says that intersection has been averaging 6 or more accidents per year for the last 5 years. The construction of the roundabout will take place in 2025.
