The November 8th Election is less than two weeks away and voters in Bellville will see two levies on the ballot.

According to RichlandSource.com, one is for Police Services, which was first passed 5 years ago in 2017 and collects $105 from residents for $100,000 in property value. The levy has allowed the Bellville PD to purchase new vehicles and hire a new officer.

The other levy in Bellville this fall is for the cemetery, which brings in just shy of $80,000 to pay for equipment, staff and to maintain the cemetery grounds.
