Ashland Recycling Event Collects Close To 68,000 Pounds Of Electronics

In Ashland, earlier this month an electronics recycling event was held and RichlandSource.com reports, over 34 tons of electronics was collected. Over 500 vehicles showed up to drop off more than 34,000 pounds in TV's, 7,000 pounds of computers, which all totaled nearly 68,000 pounds of electronics. The number was double what organizers predicted, which cost just shy of $25,000 to the Ashland County Solid Waste District, who put on the free event
