The owner of the former Kingsgate Movie Theatre property, Skilken Gold, told the Mansfield Planning Commission this week that Iron Pony Motorsports is interested in buying and remodeling building at 1290 and 1300 Park Ave West.
This news comes after Mansfield gave the company until December to demolish the property, which has sat vacant for more than 20 years.
Skilken Gold said, the group is interested in 3 units in the shopping center and expect to come to a resolution in the next month or two. RichlandSource.com reports, Skilken Gold Senior vice president for operations confirmed, that if a deal can’t be reached, then they will demolish the property.
