Lexington School Building Goes Into Brief Lockdown Tuesday

A Lexington school building went into a brief lockdown on Tuesday, after a district member saw someone run across the property and into the village.

School officials were notified just a minute later by local police that a juvenile from Abraxas was being transported and as they were driving through the area, he jumped out of the vehicle and was caught a couple minutes later. Classes at the new 7-12 grade building in Lexington resumed as normal.
