The Richland County Commissioners have named an Interim EMA Director.
RichlandSource.com reports, Sarah Potes has been appointed to replace Joe Petrycki, who resigned earlier this month. The 38 year old Potes lives in Bellville and has worked in the EMA office for approaching a year. Potes is a graduate of Mansfield Christian and Mount Vernon Nazarene University.
Originally, the commissioners did not plan to name an interim director, but found out that they could lose grant funds without someone in the role. Commissioner Tony Vero said, they believe Sarah can handle the role.
