Lt. Randy Wood of the Ashland County Sheriff Office has been named Ashland County EMA interim director.
RichlandSource.com reports, the county commissioners are still working to find a permanent replacement for Mark Rafeld, who spent 15 years in the role and retired back in July.
Wood is the county 911 coordinator and has worked for the Sheriff’s Office for more than 20 years.
