Shelby: Former School Building To Become Community Center

A former school building in Shelby will be transformed over the next year into a community center.

According to RichlandSource.com, the Core Community Church purchased the Auburn and Dowds elementary school buildings from the Shelby schools and  is set to invest $1.5 million in the next 12 months to renovate into what they are calling “The Shelby Dream Center”. The facility will be used for after school activities, programs and space other community organizations.
