Friday, August 26: Shelby freshman QB Brayden DeVito accounted for 5 total touchdowns ( 4 passing and 1 rushing) in the Whippets 53-21 win on the road at Lexington. DeVito threw for 400 yards in just his 2nd ever high school game, which included 2 TD passes to Issaiah Ramsey. Shelby's Skyler Winters scored 3 TDs, which included a 61 yard pick 6 on defense and a rushing and receiving TD too. The Whippets improve to 2-0, while Lexington drops to 0-2.
