Warbel And Vickers Inducted In Sports Hall Of Fame Weekend In Loudonville

This weekend is a big one down in Loudonville, as two new members are being inducted into the districts Sports Hall Of Fame. Friday night, when Loudonville host Utica, former coach Mike Warbel will be inducted. Warbel coached 22 years and led Loudonville to the final 4 twice in the 80’s and a state runner-up finish in 1990.

Saturday, former volleyball coach Carolyn Vickers will be inducted. Vickers helped Loudonville win the state title in 1991, along with 8 conference titles and a final four and state runner-up appearance in the early 80’s.
