The Richland County Commissioners this week approved a 1 year renewal contract for county waste removal with Rumpke.
According to RichlandSource.com, the new deal will cost the county 5% more due to inflation, which has saw nearly every product rise in costs.
Commissioner Tony Vero said, 5% may be a bargain with inflation at 8 or 9 %. Rumpke mention the reason for the increase is due to the rise in fuel prices.
