The Ashland County Airport is set to receive a $75,000 dollar grant from the FAA ( Federal Aviation Administration).

RichlandSource.com reports, the funds will cover the cost of connecting the entrance of the airport on County road 1102 to US 42. The paved road will hopefully be complete by sometime next summer. The FAA grant will cover 90% of the cost, which will leave 10% that will be paid for by the airport authority.
