A company out of Bay City Michigan, which actually submitted the lowest bid for the Westinghouse Demolition project in Mansfield, sent a letter to local media outlets and local officials, which stated awarding a contract for over a $1.2 million difference to a company with far less qualifications, than three national contractors, is doing a great disservice to the tax payers of Ohio.

Arthur Dore, manager of Dore and Associates, Inc, added in his letter,  his company had the lowest bid at $2.7 million, which saves the city, county, state and American Rescue Plan money - that can be used for additional grants for other commercial and residential projects in the area and across the state.

A local company from Crestline, R&D Excavating was awarded the bid for $3.9 million, which still needs approval from the Ohio Department of Development, who is supplying a $3 million grant toward the project.
