Funding for engineer and design work for the rest of the West End Neighborhood Improvement Plan in Mansfield has been secured, according to RichlandSource.com.

$200,000 is set to be allocated from Richland County’s American Rescue Plan Act Funds, per Adrian Ackerman, who is Mansfield’s Community Development and Housing Director. The Commissioners have not yet voted on the matter, but Tony Vero and Cliff Mears both gave their support to the idea.

Phase 1 of the West End Neighborhood plan was completed earlier this summer.
