Ohio House District 67: Melanie Miller Wins Republican Primary

Ashland's Melanie Miller was victorious in the Republican primary yesterday in the newly drawn Ohio House District 67. Miller unofficially received more than 62% of the vote, Brunswick mayor Ron Falconi got 30% of the votes cast, while Terry Robertson garnered 7%.

Miller will face Democrat Drew Burge in November for the opportunity to represent Ashland and Medina County in Columbus, as State Representative. RichlandSource.com reports, Ashland County had a near 15% turnout a the polls, while Medina County was just over 7%. Miller said, she felt like a kid at Christmas.
