Tuesday, there will be a special Election in the state of Ohio.

The August 2nd Primary is expected to have a low voter turnout in Richland County of around 5%, according to Richland County Board of Elections Director, Matt Finfgeld.

However, in Ashland County election officials are predicting a higher turnout because of local resident Melanie Miller, who is running for State Representative in house district 67. Miller, along with Brunswick mayor Ron Falconi and Terry Robertson are running in the Republican primary to appear on the fall ballot and represent Ashland and Medina Counties.
