Richland County Job and Family Services has canceled two transportation contracts, after it learned the company it was working with used a driver, who had a suspended license.
RichlandSource.com reports, Richland County JFS executive director, Sharlene Neumann, said, the driver operating without a valid license violated the terms of the contract with MBIE (McLeod Bethune Intervention and Enrichment Center), who has provided transportation for JFS since 2015.
The driver was charged with operating a vehicle while under DUI suspension last December. JFS plans to use other contractors for transportation.
