A post-conviction petition filed last week by convicted serial killer Shawn Grate has been denied.
RichlandSource.com reports, this kind of petition is very common in capital cases like this, according to Ashland County Prosecutor Chris Tunnell.
Grate was convicted of killing two women in Richland and Ashland County. The Ohio Supreme Court twice has upheld Grate’s death sentence.
