Tens of thousands of people are in town this weekend for the big Indy Car weekend at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course near Lexington.
Lee Tasseff, president of Destination Mansfield, Richland County estimates the big racing weekend will bring in roughly $6.9 million in economic revenue for the area.
The Honda Indy 200 goes green Sunday afternoon, Ohio State Football player and Lexington graduate, Cade Stover, is the grand marshall and will get to tell drivers – to start their engines. Race will be broadcast live on National TV.
