A teacher for the Mansfield City School District has been recognized as a State of Ohio Finalist for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science.
Andrea Murphy, who teaches 3rd grade at Springmill STEM elementary, took part in the event at the Columbus Zoo. If Murphy is selected, should be head to Washington D.C for the national award and a $10,000 grant for outdoor learning.
