The Lexington Planning Commission has turned down a request to build a gas station on Main Street.
According to RichlandSource.com, Englefield Oil recently presented plans to construct a gas station and convenience store near the village square.
Mayor Brian White said it was mainly traffic issues as to why the request was denied.
