A groundbreaking was recently held for the new 8,000 square foot Dog Shelter in Ashland County.
RichlandSource.com reports, the new facility on Baney road in what one of the county commissioners called the most modern dog shelter in the state, will include heated indoor and outdoor floors, kitchen for preparing food and an air cycling system.
The cost is around $1.5 million dollars and will see a local company handle the work in Simonson Construction. The project hopes to be finished by December.
