NWS: 3 Tornadoes Touched Down Monday In Richland, Morrow and Knox County

The National Weather Service has released more information from this week’s storms, which now says 3 different Tornadoes swept through the North Central Ohio region late Monday night.

The rating on all three were an EF1 – the one in Richland County touched down at 11:33 pm Monday and had wind speeds of 105 MPH in the southern part of the county, which started 3 miles north of Butler and ended 4 miles south of Perrysville in Ashland County. ( link to info from NWS)

A 2nd Tornado (97 MPH) touched down in Morrow County 5 miles northeast of Mount Gilead (link to info from NWS) and the 3rd twister (105 MPH) touched down in Morrow County near Chesterville and ended up in Knox County, 5 miles southwest of Fredericktown. ( link to info from NWS)
