Work Continues In Mansfield, Richland County Following Storm Damage

Sounds of chainsaws could be heard throughout the county in the aftermath of the storms that ripped through the region Monday and Tuesday. A delivery truck is still stuck at the corner of Trimble and Marion Ave with power lines on top of it, as poles came down from the high winds. Crews have been working hard to restore power, but thousands still remains without power due to heavy damage sustained all over the county and area. High temperatures are making things even worse with no A/C or fans, so residents may want to find a place that is open to cool off and get out of the heat.
