Heavy damage is being reported throughout Richland and Ashland County from the storms that rolled through North Central Ohio late Monday into Tuesday.
Ohio Edison says crews will continue working around the clock in 16 hour shifts until all customers have been restored. The company right now reports they expect to have affected customers back up and running by Thursday evening, but the hope is- most of the impacted customers will be restored much sooner.
Later today, Ohio Edison will have more status updates and closer restoration times for outage locations. Avoid downed power lines, assume any wire is dangerous and report them right away.
